This describes what Trip stores, why, and who else sees it. Trip is operated by Simple Apps at trip.simple-apps.online.
What we store
Your account: your email address and a hash of your password, held by our shared sign-in service at auth.simple-apps.online. We never store your password itself.
Your trips: everything you enter — dates, routes, stays, pack lists, highlights, journal entries — and the photos you attach, stored against your account.
Your membership: whether you have an active subscription, when it renews, and the identifiers Stripe uses for your customer and subscription records.
What we don't store
We never see or store your card details. Payment happens on Stripe’s own hosted checkout page; we only learn that a payment succeeded and when the subscription renews.
Who else processes your data
Cloudflare hosts the app, its database and its photo storage. Stripe processes payments and subscriptions. MiniMax runs the language model behind the planning agent: when you send an agent message, that message, the images you attach to it, and the trip data needed to answer it are sent to MiniMax. Open-Meteo provides weather forecasts for the places in your trips.
We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use your trips or photos to train models.
Photos
Trip photos are stored under a link containing a random identifier. Anyone who has that exact link can view the photo — that is what makes sharing a trip work — but the links can’t be guessed or listed, and only you can add or delete photos on your account. Images you attach to an agent conversation are private and are deleted automatically within about 24 hours.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. Deleting a photo or a trip removes it from storage. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email support@simple-apps.online and we will action it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or its deletion at any time by writing to support@simple-apps.online.
